We offer a variety of fun classes, like screen printing and laser cutting. All of the programs are developed and taught by volunteers, and are offered at cost of materials. CoLab has a huge 3’ x 4’ CNC laserbed, and we’ve recently upgraded our laser! You can become certified to use our laser after a weekend afternoon class.

Come use our brand new Lulzbot Taz Workhorse printer! You must take our training course in order to be certified to use it. Students should prepare for the class by watching this 30 minute video.

We offer a sequence of courses to help you learn to screen print:

• Screenprinting Level 1
  Observe the preparation of a screen for printing, and print your shirt using our screens!
  
  
• Screenprinting Level 2
  Come with your simple illustration, and learn to burn it to a screen.

We have soldering irons, volt meters, and a variable power source for you to use to complete your electronics projects. Come learn some electronics in our intro course:

• Soldering Basics
  We discuss the purpose of all the equipment, learn and practice basic soldering techniques such as through-hole soldering and surface mount soldering, and you leave class with an LED pendant that you’ve created yourself.
