Stephen has been a maker since since the Tinker Toy set of his earliest memories and has worked on big art for Burning Man going back to the Circle of Regional Effigies in the early 2010s. As a resident artist at The Reno Generator in 2016, he learned what a great community space can be. He volunteers because he likes things not to be broken, because he makes friends by doing things with others, and because he loves weaving traces of what he made or fixed into a shared collaboration.
Someone didn't heed the Don't Feed the Ferals sign, and so this mangy mutt absent-minded it's way in the bay door, probably because folk kept leaving tasty scraps in the non-food trash containers& sink.
